Eden Insights Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 15, 2026

Eden Insights is a public, hosted, multi-tenant software-as-a-service platform developed and operated by Eden Insights, Inc. It helps customers create, review, schedule, publish, and analyze short-form content across connected social platforms.

Information We Process

Eden Insights may process the information needed to provide the service, including:

  • Account profile information, such as name, username, email address, organization, role, and brand assignments
  • Subscription and billing records, such as plan, billing status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, invoices, usage totals, and entitlement history
  • Brand profiles, websites, brand voice, logos, uploaded assets, presets, recipes, prompts, and generation settings
  • Generated or imported videos, images, audio, captions, thumbnails, metadata, publishing destinations, and revision history
  • Review decisions, comments, schedules, audit history, queue state, operational errors, and reliability records
  • Connected-platform account identifiers, granted permissions, OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, Page tokens, and connection status
  • Platform publishing results and analytics, such as post identifiers, URLs, views, watch time, completion rate, likes, comments, shares, clicks, follower growth, and publishing time
  • Technical information reasonably necessary to secure and operate the service, such as timestamps, session state, storage usage, job identifiers, and sanitized error information

Eden Insights does not ask for the passwords to a customer’s TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or other connected social account. Connections use the platform’s own authorization process.

Payment Information

Payment collection is handled by Stripe when self-service billing is enabled. Eden Insights does not store full card numbers. Eden Insights may store Stripe customer, subscription, price, invoice, and payment-status identifiers so it can apply the correct plan, enforce usage limits, open the Stripe Customer Portal, and respond to payment failures.

How Information Is Used

Eden Insights uses information to:

  • Create and manage organizations, members, roles, brands, and permissions
  • Generate, import, edit, review, schedule, publish, and analyze content
  • Enforce plan limits, storage allowances, generation quotas, budgets, and subscription status
  • Prevent duplicate posts and charges, retry failed work safely, and diagnose provider outages
  • Maintain security, backups, audit trails, privacy exports, and account-deletion workflows
  • Provide onboarding, support, product improvements, and performance recommendations

Eden Insights does not sell personal information.

Connected Platforms

Eden Insights sends content, metadata, and required authorization information to a connected platform only when a permitted user publishes, schedules, or enables an approved autonomous workflow. Platform providers process that information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Customers control which accounts and Pages are connected. Access can be revoked from Eden Insights or directly from the platform. Disconnecting a platform prevents future use of the saved connection but does not automatically delete content already published on that platform.

Google User Data

Eden Insights accesses Google user data only after a user authorizes the requested Google and YouTube permissions. Depending on the features the user enables, this data may include the authorized YouTube channel identity, OAuth access and refresh tokens, video and upload metadata, publishing status, and YouTube channel or video analytics. Eden Insights uses this data only to connect the authorized channel, publish user-selected content, confirm publishing results, retrieve authorized analytics, and display those results inside the user’s private Eden Insights organization.

Eden Insights may share, transfer, or disclose Google user data only to the following recipients and only for the stated purposes:

  • Google and YouTube, when Eden Insights sends authorized API requests, uploads user-selected content, refreshes authorization, or retrieves publishing and analytics results
  • Infrastructure service providers acting on behalf of Eden Insights, including Render for application hosting and Cloudflare R2 for media and object storage, only as needed to host, transmit, store, back up, secure, and operate Eden Insights
  • Authorized Eden Insights personnel, only when reasonably necessary to provide user-requested support, investigate security or abuse, maintain the service, or comply with legal obligations
  • Courts, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties required by law, when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, Eden Insights, or the public

Google user data is not sold, shared with advertisers or data brokers, disclosed to other Eden Insights customers, or used to build advertising profiles. Eden Insights does not disclose Google OAuth tokens to AI-generation providers and does not use information received from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.

Eden Insights’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Analytics and Recommendations

Eden Insights stores the latest available performance totals for posts published through Eden Insights. It does not need to retain raw provider responses or build advertising profiles. Analytics may be combined with generation settings, topics, hooks, voices, styles, models, presets, duration, and estimated cost to produce read-only recommendations.

Data Storage and Security

Eden Insights uses access controls, password hashing, role and brand boundaries, signed sessions, structured error redaction, backups, duplicate prevention, and provider-token separation. Customers must still protect their Owner account, deployment environment, API keys, OAuth credentials, and repository access.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Customers should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Retention

Operational records, generated content, uploads, analytics, billing state, and connection records are retained while the account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Customers can archive or delete individual content and may export or delete their organization through the dashboard.

Limited records may be retained after deletion when reasonably necessary for security, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or proof that a deletion request was completed. Published content, provider-side analytics, and public-media objects held by third parties must be removed through those third parties where applicable.

Data Export and Deletion

Owners can create a privacy-safe export from Settings → Privacy & Data. Exports include supported control-plane records while excluding passwords, OAuth tokens, secrets, and large media binaries.

Owners can also schedule organization deletion. The workflow requires explicit confirmation, provides a configurable grace period, cancels the active Stripe subscription when applicable, removes local organization data and known credentials, and retains a minimal deletion tombstone for audit purposes. See the Data Deletion Instructions for details.

Children’s Privacy

Eden Insights is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. Customers must be legally able to enter into the applicable service agreement.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Eden Insights adds features, providers, billing options, or legal requirements. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
